Position: Head of Human Capital
Job description
· Provide advice and support on HR issues to foster partnership with line managers and to ensure a highly motivated workforce
· Lead the full spectrum of the HR function including recruitment & selection, compensation & benefits, payroll, labor laws, performance management, employee consulting & relations, HR administration, Training & Development
· Monitor compensation and benefit program in order to attract, retain and motivate employee and to ensure that the packages are in line with company strategy and country’s regulation
· Assist in organization planning and restructuring
· Work with Regional Human Capital to drive Corporate HR initiatives with particular focus on monitoring GELV operation
· To support Regional Human Capital in formulating and implementing regional training strategies & policies; developing, implementing and overseeing the training and development program to upgrade the skills of employee and to enhance the company’s capabilities towards meeting its goals, objectives and future challenge.
· Protect interest of employee and the Company in accordance with the employee handbook and government law and regulations, establish a positive employee-employer relationship
· Conduct a continuity study of all HR policies, programs and practices that support a continuous improvement and customer oriented culture, monitoring for effectiveness and cost containment
· Interface with Trade Union to maintain healthy industrial relations climate
· Staff counseling and coaching
· Involvement in staff welfare and community development
Requirements:
The job holder must have:
· Degree in HR Management, Business, Economics or related discipline. Must be a formal Degree holder or higher
· Minimum 10 years solid HR experience in multinational companies which has well established HR practices, with at least 5 years in managerial level. Experience in Life insurance industry is an advantage.
· Strong background in business management and relationship consulting
· Skillful in executing HR programs
· Strong knowledge in Vietnam Labor Code
· Good industry knowledge and business acumen
· Excellent communication skills (oral and written) in English and Vietnamese
· Self starter, motivated and independent
· Proficient in Microsoft Office
